Dent. I'm calling this one Arthur.

Midway through hair removal - not too much dandruff

A smile, or is it just wind? Interesting currency keys

  1. Still cool, and it would be easy to take on a bike.

    1. It certainly would! But first it must type better. I think there's a featherweight action in there to go with the overall lightness of the build.

  2. Lovely! The cleaning is coming along very nicely and I look forward to seeing it all bright and sparkly. The currency keys are very interesting indeed - shillings, pounds, rupees, and dollars? And an @ key to boot! Very comprehensive keyboard.

    1. Just had a bit of a preliminary poke really. Still a long way to go with this one but there's an improvement already. I was lookking for a cent key, then realised that a slashed c would do just as well. The Shilling key (if that's what it is) must be from outside the UK. Sterling shillings were always abbreviated to s, as in L.s.d. for Pounds, shillings and pennies. What a language!

  3. Arthur Dent, hello! Good luck with the cleaning - it's actually good fun on Hermes Babies. I recently "unshelled" two of them, it's only a couple of screws and once the shell removed all parts are easily accessible. Just the usual word of advice: no oil in the segment slots.

    1. OK, but I'll save a drop of sewing machine oil for the carriage bearings.
